Former President's Cup
player Bradley Hughes has committed to play in the inaugural 2010 United
States Match Play Championship, to be held June 29-July 3 at Pebble
Creek Country Club in Taylors, South Carolina, just outside Greenville.
To date, Hughes is the highest-profile player to commit to the event.
In 1994, Hughes, originally from Australia, was named to the President's
Cup team in 1994, representing the International team. A former PGA
Tour Player, Hughes also played on the Nationwide Tour, winning the 2004
Wichita Open. He also is a two-time champion of the prestigious
Australian Masters, winning in 1993 and 1998. |

Although the championship is geared towards developmental professionals, there are no restrictions on whom may enter, including tour professionals and elite amateurs. The United States Match Play Championship is a championship open to all.
